The topics covered are many and diverse, with emphasis on Geophysics applied to Archaeology, for example non-intrusive prospecting recently carried out in Porto dos Cacos (Alcochete), one of the largest pottery centers from the Roman period that we know of in today's Portuguese space.

CAA turns 50
The Almada Archeology Center was born in 1972.
Since then, it has maintained constant activity, despite the constraints inherent to associative dynamics and the ups and downs typical of all lives.
It has always been a meeting place between science and people, between heritage and community, between history and territory.
The CAA congratulates everyone who, over these 50 years, has been involved in the projects or contributed in some way to the history of the association. Everyone left their personal mark and, we're sure, everyone brought back good memories.
